NEWS/UPDATES:
June 26, 2008 || Happy Birthday, Chris!
I know I'm overdue for uploading screencaps and video of Chris's recent TV appearances, but our cable's been messing up, and I haven't gotten the HBO 'Making of "Kit Kittredge"' taped yet. I'll update when I get all that stuff taken care of, promise! A quick update on Chris's movie 'The Lightkeepers': James Caan has been added to the cast. Shooting's still set to begin in late August to early fall.
I did want to do a post today as it's Chris's 38th Birthday! So, best of wishes to him! The site also turns five, so, Happy Birthday, Site! I really wish I had something special to mark the anniversary, but I've been so busy lately. Still, nothing like a belated anniversary site redesign, right?

June 22, 2008 || Oodles of Pics and Videos!
Quick reminder! Chris appears on Live with Regis & Kelly tomorrow! Also remember that HBO is airing its "Making of 'Kit Kittredge" episode starting tomorrow night. Be sure to check those out if you can! And yet another reminder: Tuesday night Chris appears on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I know I posted this before, but I wanted to get those reminders out there! I will have vids up as soon as I can get them, provided all goes well that is!
I have a couple of candids of Chris leaving Live with Regis & Kelly last week. Apparently, the ep is pretaped. You can check them out here. I also added oodles of pictures from the NY premiere of 'Kit Kittredge' to the gallery! It's a nice mix of MQs with a handful of HQs. Enjoy!
Also in the oodles is the amount of vids I have to share with you guys! But first, a quick link to an interview with Chris's brother John. (He's towards the end of the vid.) Apparently he received the honor of being named 'Sexy and Single' by People magazine. Watch the interview here!
Now, onto the videos! Below you'll find 1.Joint interview with Chris and costar Julia Ormond for Movieweb 2.Interview Chris did with a local Chicago station 3.A clip from the film 'Kit Kittredge' and 4.An interview Chris did on CBS's 'The Early Show' last week: I would've given you guys a heads up, but I didn't know he was going to be on! He's sneaky, that Chris. Anyway, enjoy! I really wanted to do something special, as the sites turns 5 years this month! But, the updates have kept me busy. Still, I guess new Chris stuff is something worth celebrating in itself. (I won't lie. I'm typing this while I'm really sleepy. It's late my time.)
Okay, so I mixed the order up on the vids. You guys are smart, I'm sure you'll figure it out.

June 18, 2008 || New Interviews and Videos!
I was able to get a copy of Family Circle. I typed up the full interview, which you can find in PDF format here! I've got plenty of HQ pics from the L.A. premiere of Kit Kittredge to add, but be sure to check out a few pics from the Chicago premiere of the film, at which Chris was accompanied by his daughter Lily. Interviews are popping up everywhere, and you can find the ones available on the web posted and linked in the forum. Speaking of interviews, Chris is scheduled to appear on the talk show Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on June 24. Be sure to check your listings for your local CBS affiliates!
I've uploaded a slew of Kit Kittredge related videos featuring Chris. Below, you can watch 1.Red Carpet Interview with Chris talking about his kids reactions to the premiere 2.Some footage of Chris walking the red carpet 3.Soundbyte from Chris talking about driving the car in the Kit movie 4.Joint interview with Chris and Julia Ormond for Access Hollywood and 5.Chris talking to ET on the red carpet.

June 15, 2008 || Kit Kittredge L.A. Premiere Pics Plus Candids and Interviews!
First off, a big Happy Father's Day to Chris and all the dads out there! Chris spent yesterday out with his family at the premire of Kit Kittredge. You can view 100+ pics I've uploaded in the gallery! Expect more as they become available, especially HQs (though, there are currently 22 HQs in there right now). Expect some vids of Chris at the premiere, as well. Speaking of which, while I have personal issues with ET/The Insider, it is worth noting and linking to a small vid The Insider has posted of the stars of Kit Kittredge at the premiere, Chris included: video here. Also, be sure to read a nice interview with Chris about his work on Kit Kittredge. Thanks to Julia Thorne for posting and keeping up with stuff in the forum. She also linked to this early review of the film.
Also, Chris is featured in the July issue of Family Circle. I have yet to get an issue, as I've been sick all week. Hopefully, I'll nab that next chance I can. (Along with catching up on everything I'm behind on.)
TV Alerts: Chris will appear on Regis & Kelley on June 23rd. It's syndicated, so check your local listings. The Making of 'Kit Kittredge' will start airing on HBO and all its sister channels on June 23rd, as well. (Also, thanks to elodie for making sure I knew about the Regis & Kelley bit.)
As a final goodie, be sure to check out some recent candids of Chris leaving a Yoga class!

June 4, 2008 || TCM Essentials, Jr. and Trailer Screencaps Uploaded!
I finally got a chance to cap the full trailer for Kit Kittredge. I uploaded the screencaps into the gallery. I also added an HQ version of the poster featuring Chris. I was also able to get screencaps up from Chris and Kit Kittredge costar Abigail Breslin hosting the first night of TCM Essentials, Jr. to the gallery. The featured film was the classic National Velvet, which Chris mentioned was one of his daughter Lily's favorite movies, as she's a fan of horseback riding. You can view the full introduction and exchange below:
Now for a few words about our always wonderful affiliates. We have a new one, Selma Blair Online.
One of this site's closest affiliates is dedicated to the wonderful actress Natascha McElhone. The actress recently lost her husband of ten years, Martin Kelley. The couple share two children and another baby on the way. Martin was well-known in the UK for his work with cosmetic surgery for the underpriveleged. The webmiss Zosia has set up a condolence book should anyone wish to send Natascha some kind words during this difficult time.

May 30, 2008 || New Chris Projects and Kit Kittredge Stuff!
I'm actually doing two updates in the same month! Wow! Apologies, as always, for the extended absence. The short story is that my family keeps me busy and they come first.
Chris has at least one new project on the way. In addition to his two movies releasing this year, he's set to star in at least one more. The one we know for certain is entitled The Lightkeepers. It's set to start shooting in Massachusetts in August. Chris's costars are two wonderful veteran actors: Martin Sheen and Blythe Danner. The film is set in 1912 Cap Cod and the plot is described as follows: " a lighthouse keeper who has disavowed any association with females, must deal with the appearance of two attractive women who move into a nearby cottage for the summer." The plot summary is from IMDb Pro. It also lists Chris as a character named John, but no word if that's official. (Martin Sheen is rumored to play Seth, and Blythe seems to be confirmed as Mrs. Bascom.) Our forum's resident sleuth/spambot killer Julia Thorne was nice enough to dig up this informative article. I'll keep you updated as more information becomes available. A possible other project for Chris is also lighthouse-centered. In an interview, Mariel Hemingway mentioned she'd be acting with Chris in a movie (and noted how funny it was that he had played her grandfather Ernest Hemingway years earlier.) She stated the project was entitled The Lighthouse, which is a film about the following: "A man arrives at a lighthouse off the coast of Brittany in the English Channel, where he is to install some equipment. He meets two brothers who have been living there for years and begins to unravel their dark secrets." No more information, other than producers and writers, is available about the project. The chances of Chris's doing two movies back-to-back about lighthouses is slim; there is the possibility that Mariel mixed up the title, as she would fit into the other woman in the movie The Lightkeepers. As always, I'll keep you updated.
Chris and Kit Kittredge costar Abby Breslin begin their duties as hosts of TCM Essentials, JR. this Sunday on TCM, so set your VCRs! Check out a promo image of Chris and Abby at the official site.
Speaking of Kit Kittredge, promotion for the movie is heavily underway. Keep an eye out for TV and magazine appearances of Chris. We've got our first via a spread and short interview in the June issue of Men's Vogue. My scanner is currently up North in storage, so we have some temproray mediocre shots from my digital camera in the gallery. I also typed up the full article and converted it into a PDF file for easier accessiblity. Let me know if you have any issues. You can read/download it here. I perused through all the mags at my local bookstore and had no luck finding anymore Chris articles and such. It's early, yet, so I'll keep a vigilant watch.
The movie also has its own website. Check out the Photo Gallery for stills from the movie accompanied by audio clips. Chris and his character Mr. Kittredge is in a few. He can also be spotted in a behind-the-scenes image. Also check out the section about cast and filmmakers for Chris's page. The images on the site are rather tiny, so I probably won't be adding them to the gallery, at least no time soon. The website also offers information on passes to the advanced screenings in select locations.
I've managed to get some script pages about the character Jason Colvin in Max Payne. I haven't decided how I'll write it up, but I'll share about the character next chance I get. It'll have to come after some screencapping, which includes the HQ Kit Kittredge trailer and working on a new layout to celebrate the site's upcoming 5th anniversary!
||||
May 3, 2008 || More Chris News and Gallery Updates!
As always, apologies for the long absence. I've been keeping up with pictures and media, but it seems to have been building up a lot lately. I've pretty much caught up now. I would explain what's been keeping me occupied with matters away from the site, but the details are far from interesting. I'll spare you of them.
Chris's role in Max Payne has been confirmed as executive Jason Colvin. The movie recently wrapped its two-month shoot in Toronto. Hopefully we'll see some promotional material soon. I also added HQ versions of the shooting candids from a while back here.
In other movie news, Chris's movie Kit Kittredge is just around the corner. They've released some promotional stills and posters for the film featuring Chris. You can also check out the longer trailer for the film on AOL Kids. The film is set to premiere in Chris's hometown of Chicago on June 17. (Chris mentioned in a recent interview that his daughter Lily was looking forward to the premiere, so she may be in tow.) The film will then have a limited release in the area until July when it goes nationwide. Chris and his costar Abigail Breslin will be hosting a special show on TCM come June, as well:
>TCM ESSENTIALS JR. Sundays at 8 p.m., beginning June 1
Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) and GoldenGlobe nominee Chris O'Donnell (Scent of a Woman) are teaming up to forTCM ESSENTIALS JR., a Sunday-night showcase that gives parents theperfect opportunity to introduce their kids to such classics asNational Velvet (1944), The Courtship of Eddie's Father (1963), MutinyOn the Bounty (1935) and Meet Me in St. Louis (1944). Breslin andO'Donnell, who are starring together in Picturehouse's summer releaseKit Kittredge: An American Girl, host this showcase that demonstratesTCM's ongoing commitment to cultivating the next generation of classicmovie fans. And like the network's popular ESSENTIALS, TCM ESSENTIALSJR. will provide background on the movies and what makes them amust-see for people of all ages.
Some other tidbits before I move on to one of the big updates. (1)Chris was recently spotted at a ballpark in Pacific Palisades supporting his kids in Little League. (2)TNT has already begun its Primetime Emmy campaigning and submitted the whole cast of The Company for acting nominations, including Chris for Best Actor in a Mini-Series. The nominations won't be announced until July, though. Still, it may be worth noting that competition won't be as stiff for the Emmys as with past TV awards,so Chris may stand a better chance at snagging a nomination. (3)By request, I've added screencaps of Batman Forever to the gallery. Next on my list is Batman & Robin, though I've been so swamped I haven't gotten the chance yet.
I've added pics of Chris at recent events to the gallery, as well. The first batch is just a handful of Chris at the Poppy Store Opening to benefit Stuart House. Chris also popped over to the 10th Annual Young Hollywood Awards to present his Kit Kittredge costar Abigail Breslin with the Youngest Coolest Hottest Veteran award. You can view the 80+ pics here. Below, I've uploaded and embedded video of Chris presenting the award to Abigail. So, I'll leave you all with that.

March 6, 2008 || Lots of Chris News and Gallery Updates!
I know it's been a while since I did a news/site update. The main reason is that my laptop broke. I'm currently using an old one from a friend, but it's still been hard for me to update due to the transition. Additionally, progress was repeatedly hindered due to personal priorities, such as school. I'll spare you all the details and instead vow to keep the site updated as much as I can.
Now, onto the exciting stuff! Chris is officially attached to the upcoming movie Swing as Coach Clothier. He was reportedly cast in the independent feature Between Us, but someone working on the film was nice enough to get back to me and let me know he's currently on in talks. Nothing official yet. Still, sounds like a good project. And, no official press releases have been released yet, so we don't know who he's playing, but Chris is appearing in the feature film Max Payne, based on the popular video game of the same name. Filming is currently underway in Toronto. Some fans suggest he may be playing a character named BB. All we know for sure is that the film's lead will be the Oscar-nominated Mark Wahlberg (personal note: loved him in 'I Heart Huckabees'). You can see candids of Chris filming in the gallery. Also, a set report revealed that Caroline and the kids are with him. Not sure if they're considering an East Coast locale in the states, though. A couple blogs have revealed that he and his wife are selling their current home in the Pacific Palisades. (Out of respect for the family's privacy, I won't make the information readily available here. It is available elsewhere on the net, though please respect their privacy and not take advantage of it if you come across it.)
That about does it for this update. Keep checking in case we get some new information on all the projects Chris has on his plate! Oh, and also, Max Payne is set for an October release.

January 26, 2008 || Small Gallery Update & A Special Word
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post this short update, but I'll explain why in a second. I have added more pics of Chris at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic to the gallery.
As everyone has heard by now, the world suffered a huge loss this week with the passing of Heath Ledger. The news left me heart broken and numb. I was far from feeling productive, which is why this update has taken such a time. The subject of Heath is far from off-topic at the site, in my opinion. One of our top affiliates is The Heath Gallery, and the site is maintained by a close friend of the site and the one who's hands down helped me out the most here. She's started a wonderfuly thread in the forum should anybody else need/want an outlet through which to share their feelings. Please keep Heath's family and friends in your thoughts and close to your hearts as they endure this immeasurable loss. Heath was special to so many people, including a precious little girl.

January 19, 2008 || Small Gallery Update & Chris Quotes!
Chris and his team's scores at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic are as follows: (Rd 1) -10, (Rd 2) -23, (Rd 3) -30. They unfortunately do not seem to be making any amateur leaderboards. I have been steadily adding pictures to the gallery from the tournament here.
Chris also gave a Q & A to the Desert Sun while at the tournament. You can read the entire interview here
More quotes from the Pebble Beach Press Conference that Chris attended have been printed:
Actor Chris O'Donnell on playing in the AT&T: "This is like the Super Bowl for me. It's like being a member of the greatest club in the world. There is so much history and tradition. The best perk I get (for being a celebrity) is playing in the AT&T. My buddies fight all year to see who gets to caddie for me."
"You wait and wait for that invitation," said O'Donnell... "And when it finally shows up, your heart skips a beat. It's one of the great perks of being famous."
-- On his preparations: "I try to steal one of the free drivers from one of the equipment trucks."
-- On staying calm during the tournament: "I very delicately sedate myself - one cold beer before I play. And I'm not kidding."
-- On the 18th hole at Pebble: "I get to the tee and I always have the same thought: I just want to finish the hole."
I've been meaning to upload these for a while, but I finally got a chance to add some Promotional Stills & Images from 'Men Don't Leave'. Enjoy!
Awhile back I mentioned that Chris signed up for this year's Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, which begins tomorrow. He'll be playing with fellow actor Kyle MacLachlan and amateur Douglas Martin. Their team will play with a different pro each day. The pros they'll join on the tees are John Daly, Mike Weir, Woody Austin, and Justin Leonard. For a more detailed rundown of tee times, see the forum.
Also, Chris will make is 11th appearance at Pebble Beach next month. Below is a tidbit from San Jose's Mercury News:
Chris O'Donnell, previewing his 11th appearance, was the celebrity guest for the annual month-before news conference at Stanford Golf Course. The "Grey's Anatomy" co-star is one of the amateurs who can play for real, and he even piped in to ask a technical question on the conference call with Phil Mickelson.
O'Donnell's big edge comes in knowing how to deal with the jitters that come from playing in front of big galleries: "I very delicately sedate myself - one cold beer before I play."
Now, onto some pimpage. I've started another fansite, so please check it out if you have time: ADAM GOLDBERG ONLINE!
And, now for something that's not self-promotion. Just a thanks to Emma for helping me out with the spambots on the forum. And just some overdue shout-outs to some of this site's affiliates: Hugh Laurie Fan, Lena Headey Source, John Simm Online, and Drew Barrymore Online! Check them out when you get a chance!

January 9, 2008 || CCA Updates!
I was able to add a few more pictures to the gallery of Chris at the Critics' Choice Awards. I also added video of Chris on the red carpet and presenting at the awards. You can view them here. Enjoy!
||||
January 8, 2008 || Chris at the Critics' Choice Awards!
Chris appeared at the 7th Annual Critics' Choice Awards last night. He showed up in support of 'The Company,' which unfortunately lost out to 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee' again. He presented Best Animated Film and Best Family Film along with 'Hairspray' cutie Nikki Blonsky. Sorry it's taken me all day to get this pictures uploaded, but you can view them here. I should have video up tomorrow. If anyone missed the show, you can catch repeats on VH1, check your local listings. They've been reairing it all day, and have some future showings throughout the week. Chris appeared towards the end of the Red Carpet show and shared his picks for Best Picture nominees. He supported 'Juno,' which he said he saw a few nights ago. (On a personal note, I also finally got the chance to see it over the weekend. I've been excited for it since I heard Jason Reitman was attached. It was as good as everyone says it is, and then some!) He appears towards the beginning of the second hour of the actual awards ceremony. I may also have more pictures tomorrow. I know today it was a challenge at times to keep up with the constant picture updates on some sites. For now, enjoy the ones in the gallery!
Also, I just wanted to let everyone know that due to recent spambot issues, I have enabled account activation on the forum. This means that you cannot post immediately after registration, but will need to wait until I approve you. This shouldn't take long, and I will send an e-mail out to you to let you know you can post.
||||
January 5, 2008 || New Pics & Videos!
First update of 2008! Happy New Year to all!
I finally uploaded all my Magazine Scans to the gallery! Enjoy! For the most part, I ordered the albums in reverse chronological order.
I also finally got the chance to take the clips of Chris from his appearance on the 'Batman & Robin' episode of Oprah back in 1997(Courtesy of ClooneyStudio) and cut them into videos featuring footage of just Chris. You can watch them here. The first one is Chris's interview, in which he discusses his recent marriage to Caroline (who receives some camera time, along with Chris' parents and brother Bill with his fiancee). The second part includes a picture of one of Chris's magazine modeling jobs from his youth and the famous McDonald's commercial he did with Michael Jordan. I plan on doing some screencaps, although they will obviously be rather small.
And just a quick note regarding the forum. A couple site visitors pointed out to me recently that registration at the forum was pretty much impossible. There were some flaws in the coding and more technobabbley issues. The problems should be fixed now, and all should be able to register. I am so sorry I didn't realize this problem earlier. Hopefully not too many of you were inconvenienced by this! Big thanks again to Renee and Victoria who gave me the much-needed heads up about the forum issues!
Last update I mentioned that 'The Company' received a nomination for the Golden Globes. The last word from NBC said that the ceremony was to proceed as usual, despite the current WGA strike. However, the Screen Actors Guild released a statement this week stating that its members will not be crossing the picket lines and attending the event. Without actors as nominees and presenters, things look bleak for the Globes. NBC plans to announce their "resolution plan" Monday. According to Hollywood insiders, though, the Globes are not something Hollywood as a whole will probably be fighting for due to various reasons, that I won't go into detail here to save space. While on the topic of award shows, however, Monday January 7th the Critics' Choice Awards will air on VH1. 'The Company' is a dark horse nominee for Best TV Movie/Mini-Series, especially up against the big player 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.' Still, best of luck to all its crew!
That last bit may be a little confusing, so if you need me to clear anything up, feel free to comment to the post or e-mail me!

December 29, 2007 || Plenty of Great Chris News!
First off, just sending tons of good wishes and congratulations to Chris and his wife Caroline who welcomed their fifth child Maeve Frances on December 10. Everyone's happy, according to Chris's publicist. Maeve was 8 lbs. and 21 1/2 inches long! Maeve joins siblings Lily, Chip, Charlie, and Finley.
On the topic of 'The Company,' the miniseries has been scoring some nominations. So far it has received nominations from the Satellite Awards, WGA, Critics' Choice, and Golden Globes. Costar Michael Keaton also received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Best Male Performance in a TV Movie/Miniseries. Congrats to the team behind 'The Company,' especially screenwriter Ken Nolan and Michael. Critics' Choice Awards are set to air on VH1 January 3, 2008. The Golden Globes are set to broadcast January 13, 2008; however, with the WGA strike, the awards may encounter some bumps. Even if it does go on, some actors and producers may not want to cross the picket line and attend. I'll do my best to give you guys any updates.
Additonally, Chris is set to attend an event next month (if he's not too tired from a new infant, that is). Chris is one of the celebrities (along with pal Huey Lewis) who has signed up early to play in the 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. The event will be held from January 16 to January 20 on four desert courses at Classic Club in Thousand Palms. It will be hosted by comedian George Lopez.
As a treat for all you patient fans and visitors, I've uploaded some old interviews Chris did, both for The Daily Show. The first is from 1999 when he was promoting 'The Bachelor' and the second features Chris promoting Vertical Limit in 2000. ZippyVids was being troublesome, so I went ahead and uploaded them to DivShare. I know some of you reported having trouble with Zippy and prefer DivShare. If anyone has a preference as to which video site you want me to upload videos to from now on, feel free to let me know!
I hope everyone has been having a wonderful holiday season! Happy New Year!

November 24, 2007 || Tons of Gallery Updates!
Long overdue for an update, I know! If you've been visiting the gallery, you'll know that I have added plenty of new things. If you haven't, well, it's a good thing you stopped by!
I uploaded screencaps for 'The Company'Night Three. Unfortunately, the third night of 'The Company' didn't fare so well in the ratings. The last installment only scored 1.9 million viewers.
Speaking of 'The Company', it was released on DVD (Blu-ray and HD formats availabe as well). The extras are simply the featurettes found on TNT's website that I linked to a while back. So, nothing really new. Still, if you enjoyed the mini-series, it's a good buy.
Just a heads up to all the Brits out there. 'The Company starts tonight on BBC2 at 9:40. The other two installments follow on subsequent Saturdays.
As for the gallery, I uploaded some pics of Chris at a press conference for 'The Company' in October with his costar Michael Keaton: album here. I also found some adorable candids of Chris shopping with his son Finley that can be found here. Chris also made an appearance at the 2007 Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Tournament.
Finally, we have some new media from 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery.' There is a small version of the trailer here: Flash required. Chris is in it a great deal considering his part is relatively small, at least in the script I read. Speaking of which, I still owe you guys a script summary of his character. I haven't forgotten about it, and hopefully I'll have it up soon. In the mean time, enjoy some small screencaps of Chris in the trailer here. I imagine we'll get a higher quality version soon enough. Since most people have a Flash player, I assume you all can watch the trailer right now. However, other versions may be released in nonuniversal formats. So, I'll do any converting if needed.
That about rounds it up for this update. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Best of wishes to everyone for the upcoming holiday season!

August 16, 2007 || 'The Company' Screencaps and Promo Stills!
I've been away from home for a few days, so I wasn't able to update the main page. However, Monday, I uploaded screencaps for 'The Company' Night Two. There are almost 1200 pictures there, some of which are of Natascha McElhone for my friend Zosia. I also uploaded promotional stills for Night Three.
Now for some bad news, while I expecting 'The Company's ratings to go down, I didn't expect the drop from an average of 2.9 million viewers to 2.1 million this past Sunday. Due to the aforementioned absence, I wasn't able to post the info the day it was released, so thanks to Emma for taking up the slack on the forum!
Also, another thanks to Sharon who posted in the comments for the last post that Chris's interview on the CBS Early Show can also be found on YouTube for those interested.
||||
August 8, 2007 || Screencaps Galore!
I've finally added screencaps from 'The Company' Night One to the gallery! There's almost 640, so enjoy! Additionally, I've added screencaps from Chris on 'The Early Show' this morning here. Again, enjoy!
ETA: Since someone reported some problems with the CBS site, I've gone ahead and uploaded my own captured video of the interview here. You can also watch it below:
||||
August 7, 2007 || More Interviews and Promotional Stills!
First off, TV Alert! Chris will be appearing on CBS's 'The Early Show' tomorrow morning. I wanted to post that earlier, but I was hoping to be able to upload screencaps at the same time as making the announcement. No luck with the caps, sadly. I've gotten some done, but I've just been really sick and really busy this week. I promise they'll be up as soon as I can get them. For now, just rise and shine tomorrow morning and watch another Chris interview!
While I don't have screencaps, I do have 18 hi-res promotional stills from next Sunday's showing of 'The Company'. You can find them in gallery.
Also, there have been many,many Chris interviews this week/month. You can find them in the forum. Additionally, the current issue of TVGuide contains an on-set article/interview with Chris while he was filming 'The Company.'
Now that the good news is out of the way, some rather bad news I'm afraid in regards to 'The Company.' Sunday's premiere averaged only 2.9 million viewers. It's not great for cable in general, but it's especially not good for TNT specifically, as their drama series usually score very good ratings that even some network shows would envy. The average means that the ratings for each hour were put together, so the first hour probably scored 3+ million viewers and the second got somewhere below 2.9, maybe 2.7 or 2.8 or something. No single factor can be behind this, but I don't think it helped that the stellar reviews and feature articles from the major magazines were in issues that didn't make it to news stands until this week, after the premiere. Just keep your fingers crossed for better ratings next Sunday. The repeats did manage to pick up a few more viewers with the first repeat Sunday night garnering about 936,000 viewers, and the later repeat averaging 523,000.
For those who missed the mini-series' first part, you can view it in its entirety at TNT's website. Start here, scroll over to "Shows">The Company>Episode 101 or Episode 102, depending on what you need. TNT offers videos in both Windows Media and Quicktime formats, so all users should have some kind of compatibility. However, some Internet users have reported errors when trying to watch the episodes. If any of you have trouble, there's not much I can do, as I don't work at TNT. But let me know, and I'll see about getting you alternative viewing methods, so to speak.

August 2, 2007 || Live with Regis & Kelly Video and Screencaps!
Sorry it's taken me so long today, I've been busy. You can find screencaps of Chris's appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly in the gallery. I've also uploaded the video here. My affiliate cut off some of the middle, but I caught it on another channel, and it was just Regis and Chris discussing their colleges' football teams (Notre Dame and Boston College, respectively). Enjoy!
ETA: It turns out Chris did in fact appear on Entertainment Tonight in a very short segment. (No idea what happened to Michael Keaton's segment, it may have been pushed back til tomorrow or something.) Anyway, I've uploaded screencaps to the gallery. I've also uploaded the short clip here. Enjoy!
ETA Pt. II: As requested by Elodie, here's embedded flash versions of Chris on Entertainment Tonight and Regis & Kelly. If anyone else is having problems with the videos linked above, hopefully these will work for you.
||||
August 1, 2007 || Today Show Video and Screencaps!
Sorry it took me so long. I've been having tech issues all morning. Anyway, the interview was short but sweet. Chris officially confirmed what I posted a few updates back: that he and Caroline are expecting their fifth child. Since he mentioned more than once they were stopping at four, it wasn't suprising to hear that he was shocked himself. But he and Caroline are still excited and happy. Since I already wished them congrats, I think it's only fitting to send them best of luck and lots of energy for their upcoming arrival! You can view sccreencaps of the interview in the gallery. Unfortunately, ZippyVideos was one of my opponents in the tech battles this morning, so I was unable to upload the video there just yet. Right after the interview aired, I did see it on the official website for the Today show, but their video player is full of scripts and can be a pain. So, far now, I hope you enjoy this embedded video of the interview. If anybody has any problems, as always, comment or e-mail me and I'll do what I can.
*ETA*: I also uploaded some promotional stills from Chris's appearance this morning to the gallery. They're the last two pictures and are labeled as Promo Stills.
And don't forget: tomorrow morning Chris will be on Regis & Kelly, with -- hopefully-- a longer interview.
Also, Chris's mentioning the American Girl movie reminded me that I haven't posted the promised details on his character from the script for the movie. I've read the whole script, but I probably won't get details up until after 'The Company' is over with, as it's keeping me quite busy at the moment.

July 31, 2007 || DVD News Plus Chris Pics and TV Reminders!
First off, Chris did another magazine interview: this time with the popular magazine Marie Claire. The interview is short but wonderful and can be found online here. (I'll probably post it in the forum later, in case it's taken down from the site in the future) Huge thanks to Diana at Marie Claire for the heads up! Be sure to check out the latest issue to grab your own copy of the awesome interview!
DVD News: Chris fans have some DVDs to look forward to this fall. Both Season 3 of Grey's Anatomy and Season 1 of Two and a Half Men will be released on September 11. I'll give you more details as they become available, such as special features. Since Chris was in the first four episodes of Season 3, he'll probably be on the first disc of the Grey's Anatomy set. I know his episode is set for Disc 3 on the Two and a Half Men set. Additionally, Sony Pictures Television is planning on releasing the DVD of The Company on October 23rd. No word yet on all the specifics and features, but if you're interested in some speculation (including possible price numbers) you can read some here.
I added pictures from Chris's appearance in Parade magazine to the gallery (which I see that many of you have already found!). The scan is here. Although, I did misplace some of the extra pics from the magazine's official website in that album. I'll move them later, but for now, you can view the rest from the website in this album.
TV Reminders!: Don't forget to catch Chris tomorrow morning on The Today Show and Thursday morning on Regis & Kelly! Check your local listings. I'll have screencaps and videos up as soon as possible!

July 28, 2007 || New Chris Interviews Plus Tons of 'The Company' Goodies!
TNT has outdone themselves with the official site for The Company. There are great features such as tie-in games that you can play. Most of the information, though, comes from the official press kit that I posted in the forum a bit back. While you're at TNT's site, be sure to stop by Dramavision while you're there. Hover over "Shows" and you'll see a drop down menu. Go to "The Company" and you'll see three sections. "Spy Toys" is a net-exclusive series that discuss the gadgets and gizmos of the CIA. Chris "hosts" it, but he really just introduces each segment and sometimes plugs the website at the end of the videos. The two things worth checking out are the "Web Exclusives" which includes two new previews and "Behind the Drama" that features videos about making The Company. The videos include interviews with the cast and crew. I've made screencaps from the featurettes and previews and put them in the gallery: Preview Caps/Behind the Drama Caps.
Just a note, I'm not really in a rush to upload these videos to ZippyVideos like I usually do because everyone seems to be able to access the site, including international fans. However, if you have trouble with the videos and would like me to try and upload an easier format for you, just comment and let me know. Also, speaking of international fans, you should be able to watch The Company at Dramavision after its premiere, as TNT usually uploads shows on their website. I will be uploading the episodes in segments to Zippyvideos to give them a permanent home in case TNT takes them off their own website one day.
Variety.com has also given special attention to The Company. They have their own mini-site for the mini-series here! Again, most of the information is from the Press Kit, but there is a short video interview with Chris. I've added a handful of screencaps from it to the gallery.
Also, in addition to screencaps of the first episode, expect some more Promotional Images and Stills on August 6th or around that time!
New Interviews: Chris is popping up all over the media right now in anticipatioin of the premiere of The Company. There is a great Q&A with him at Variety.com. Additionally, Chris appears in the August 2007 issue of Maxim magazine. I've uploaded scans to the gallery. If you don't get a chance to pick up your own copy, the images should be large enough for you to read the interview/article. Another heads up: don't forget to check your local paper this weekend! The popular newspaper insert 'Parade' magazine features an interview with Chris. You can read the interview, as well as preview some photos, here. You can also read both the 'Parade' and 'Variety' interviews in forum.
TV Alert: In addition to stopping by Regis & Kelly this week, Chris will also appear on The Today Show Wednesday morning (August 1). Check your local listings!
Gallery: Just wanted to point out that in addition to all the other images I've mentioned, I also added a scan of an old pin-up of Chris.
Affiliates:I know this update is getting pretty long, but I would like to plug some new affiliates! They're all wonderful sites, and I recommend that you check them out. Some of them have been added as Top Affiliates, which are located down the left column of the main page.

July 18, 2007 || Gallery Update Plus Chris TV Alert!
Chris recently attended the premiere screening of his upcoming miniseries The Company. I've uploaded 120+ pictures from the event to the gallery. There are about 20 hires pictures and the rest are MQ, some tagged. Enjoy! I don't think Chris has ever looked better! Caroline was equally gorgeous and positively glowing -- and apparently expecting for a fifth time. Congrats to both Chris and Caroline!
While at the TCA, Chris shared some quotes with reporters. They can all be found in the forum.
TV Alert: Chris is set to appear on 'Live with Regis & Kelley' Thursday, August 2! Check your local listings for showtimes. Hopefully, he'll make other talk show stops while he's in New York City.

July 15, 2007 || The Company Goodies Plus Chris Pics!
I've added information from the official The Company press kit to the forum. The thread is locked, so if you wish to discuss, please do so in the thread for The Company. I bolded Chris-related parts, but I recommend reading all sections if you have the time.
As mentioned in the previous update, the TNT panels at the TCA were set for today. Thankfully, pictures of Chris from the event were available. I've posted them to the gallery.

July 12, 2007 || The Company News and Some New Chris Pics!
First off, a belated Happy Birthday to Chris's little boy Charlie who turned four yesterday!
Next, TNT has added (finally) a page for The Company! It also mentions that starting tomorrow, Chris will be hosting a 10-part broadband series called Spy Toys of the CIA. I know that not everyone has broadband, so if I can, I'll try to make a more dial-up friendly version of the series.
I also found out that TNT along with all of the Turner networks will have their TCA panels this Sunday.
Gallery: I added a scan of the short but super sweet interview from August Good Housekeeping to the gallery. Huge thanks to the lovely Sammy for the scan! Also in the gallery are some candids of Chris and the cast on the set of Kit Kittredge. The pictures come from the site of his costar Austin MacDonald. Also, it was nice to notice that Chris is sporting a hat from his brother's clothing line Johnnie-O.

July 8, 2007 || Gallery Update Plus Chris News!
I've made a huge, and I mean HUGE, gallery update! There's almost 3000 pics there now. Many of them are reuploads, but a large chunk is brand new stuff that wasn't even up before the site went down. Enjoy! There's plenty more to come, just not immediately. I've got some other projects I need to work on right now, but I'll gradually catch up on the gallery when I can.
In Chris news, I've got two bits for you! Chris is set to join his 'The Company' costars at the TNT TCA press tour panel. I don't know the exact date yet, but the whole TCA Summer Press tour starts July 10th, and we can expect TNT's to be sometime in the first week since the major networks occupy the second week. Also, check your local news stands as Chris is in the August issue of Good Housekeeping in a small article! Special thanks to the lovely Sammy for the heads up on that!

July 4, 2007 || The Company Updates!
The official trailer for The Company can be viewed here. It's wonderful, so watch it if you can! If you have any trouble, I've uploaded an alternate version here. Additionally, I screencapped the trailer and the images are up in the gallery!
In order to save some space on this main page, I'm going to link to forum posts for the following information. You can read TNT's official press release here. Additionally, you can find a link to a great The Company review with some Chris quotes in this post. There is also a link the aforementioned post to a full synopsis for the whole mini-series. There are HUGE spoilers in it, so don't read if you don't want to.
Last but not least, Chris is in the July/August issue of Best Life magazine, so check your local newsstands for a copy. I have one and a scan will be up next chance I get.

June 26, 2007 || Happy Birthday, Chris!!
I was hoping to have the progress of the site further by now, but unfortunately I haven't been able to work on it as much as I would've liked. However, nothing could stop me from wishing Chris an extremely happy 37th birthday! I whipped up a small graphic last night, nothing special:
Also, I uploaded some more The Company promos in the gallery! Enjoy! There are some great shots!
This weekend I was finally able to read the script to Kit Kittredge, so expect some details on Chris's character soon!

June 22, 2007 || Gallery Updates and The Company Goodies!
Ack, almost a month since my last update. Old habits die hard I guess. Anyway, I do have some gallery updates, The Company goodies, and some Chris news to make up for the absence.
The Company: I added promos and stills of The Company back to the gallery in addition to new ones. TNT has also put a sneak preview of the mini series up on its website here. If you have trouble with it, I've uploaded a version here as well. I've also uploaded screen caps from the sneak preview into the gallery. Also, I don't think I've posted this on the front page yet, just the forum. TNT will premiere The Company on August 5th at 8 PM ET showing two hours each week on August 12th and 19th as well.
Chris attended the AFI Lifetime Achievement: Al Pacino ceremony. There are some great pics up in the gallery. The event aired on USA this week and will repeat Saturday morning at 9 AM ET for those who missed it the first time. I've been having some technical difficulties, but I should get the video of Chris's speech up soon. In the meantime, there are screencaps here.
While he was there, Chris also shared his favorite movie with AFI in honor of their recent specials celebrating the 100 greatest films. Chris stated that It's a Wonderful Life is still an old favorite of his - as he's shared many times in the past - but that his favorite film was in fact Cinema Paradiso. You can watch the short clip of Chris sharing this trivia here.
Cool Globes: Chris has helped out with another good cause. He was one of the celebrities who made a mini globe in a Chicago project that presents solutions to global warming and climate change. You can find out more about the city-wide display and organization at their official site. It lasts until September at which time the globes will be auctioned off. If you're in the area, it sounds like a great thing to go see!
As always, for up-to-the-minute news and updates about Chris and the site, don't forget to visit forum!

May 28, 2007 || Chris in American Girl Movie!
Sorry for the delay in getting the site back up. One thing after another happened. I'm
sure you all know how that goes.
Feel free to browse around and please do let me know your thoughts on the new look! You'll notice some links lead to blank pages or some sections are marked as coming soon. I'm still getting things organized, including the gallery. I promise, I'll get the rest up as soon as possible. And believe me, there will be plenty of goodies!
However, I wanted to open the site back up to celebrate a new project for Chris. He will play the father of the titular character in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery. It takes place during the Great Depression. Kit (played by the always adorable and charming Abigail Breslin) helps her mother (played by Julia Ormond) with a boardinghouse she runs. Unfortunately, her father (Chris's character) loses his job. Chris also joins his former costar from his first film Men Don't Leave, Joan Cusack. Stanley Tucci is also in the film. It'll be released through Picturehouse. Apparently, Picturehouse is the result of a joint effort by HBO and New Line Cinema. Production begins Wednesday in Toronto. For more information, you can visit the source. Incidentally, Chris was there last summer shooting The Company.
I am fortunate to have the full script for the movie. I haven't had a chance to read it, but the friend who sent it indicated that the role of Kit's father is great, but he's not in it much. Chris did indicate during the TCA when promoting Head Cases that "quality is quality." I personally was happy to see his sticking to his words. Please give me some time to get the gallery together and I'll post as many details from the script as I can.
Also, please be sure to check out the revamped forum!
And again, feel free to let me know your thoughts on the site. Plus, hearing from you all will help me stay on my toes and finish getting the site up!
Oh, and one more thing, I'm hoping to have some The Company goodies up next time in addition to gallery updates!
ETA: The release for the American Girl movie is set for July 2, 2008.
